Call for Applications – Primary School Teacher

Little Angels School is looking for a caring, passionate, and dedicated Primary School Teacher to join our team. We are looking for someone who enjoys working with young children, creates a happy learning environment, and is committed to helping every child learn and grow.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Teach using the approved curriculum.
  2. Prepare lesson plans and classroom activities.
  3. Create a safe, friendly, and engaging classroom.
  4. Help children develop reading, writing, numeracy, and social skills.
  5. Encourage learning through play, songs, stories, games, and creative activities.
  6. Assess learners' progress and keep simple academic records.
  7. Maintain good classroom discipline with kindness and respect.
  8. Communicate regularly with parents about learners' progress.
  9. Participate in school meetings, training, and other school activities.
  10. Perform other duties assigned by the school administration.

Requirements

Applicants should:

  1. Hold at least an A1 Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Primary Education or Early Childhood Education.
  2. Have teaching experience in lower primary classes.
  3. Have good communication skills in English and French. Knowledge of Kinyarwanda is an added advantage.
  4. Be patient, caring, responsible, and professional.
  5. Love working with young children and enjoy learning, playing, singing, storytelling, and interacting with them.
  6. Be creative and able to use teaching materials and activities that make learning enjoyable.
  7. Have good classroom management and communication skills.
  8. Be able to work well in a team and maintain a positive attitude.
  9. Be committed to child protection, safeguarding, and the school's values.
  10. Age requirement: 35 years or below.
